Job Description:
AmericaAgain! is a private perpetual charitable trust and member organization with a Christian worldview and operating ethic; the first full-spectrum plan for American popular sovereignty. Far beyond electoral politics, AmericaAgain! is a new way of life. After seven years and over 25,000 hours of R&D by 24 volunteers, we are launching the America’s House™ campaign explained in this 5-minute video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuoyNKXGXN4 The mission is explained in the first chapter of FEAR The People- 3rd Edition, which is available in free PDF format or audiobook... http://www.americaagain.net/fear_the_people_free_book To ratify the original First Amendment, we will play full-court-press offense in 2016-17, not asking anything of our *servants* in the state legislatures. As their citizen-sovereigns, we will *demand* that our servants finish the Article V process for our first Right in the original Bill of Rights that the state legislatures have held up for 226 years and that Congress hijacked 87 years ago with the Apportionment Act of 1929. We will host America’s House™ launch events on the front steps of 33 statehouses in 2016-17, to obtain the 27 more state legislatures' votes needed to ratify the amendment. The successful candidate for an America’s House™ Capitol Action TEAM (CAT) Leader will be an energetic self-starter with demonstrated experience in political or charitable activism. Each CAT Leader will assemble 6-8 capitol teams per month; recruit 8-12 AmericaAgain! members within short drive of the capital city and coordinate them for the launch event. Each CAT Leader will arrange in advance for media coverage of the launch event by local newspaper, radio, and TV teams. CAT Leader will travel to 7-9 states each month; no overnight trips expected. The event itself is not to exceed 20 minutes. On the ground, the CAT Leader will locate (or have a local contact do this in advance) the most strategic pedestrian traffic locations around the state capitol perimeter at which to post the local AmericaAgain! member volunteers, to hand out flyers and recruit flash-mob attendees for the event at the capitol steps. CAT Leaders will aim for 100 or more citizens to be photographed with the America’s House™ banner; will pass out 4-5 legal pads with pens to have all attendees enter their name, city, phone, and email. The AmericaAgain! HQ team will use those 100+ email addresses to originate weekly threats, notices, and reminders to every member of that state legislature until they begin signing up to sponsor the House Resolution and Senate Resolution that AmericaAgain! will furnish, that calls for the ratification vote. The modest starting salary for a CAT Leader reflects the fact that AmericaAgain! is a bootstrapping volunteer organization. In addition to salary, approved travel expenses will be reimbursed. Most state legislatures' window of approach will close by late summer; at that point, the CAT Leader becomes a full-time social media evengelist for AmericaAgain!, and will perform additional recruiting and research tasks as required.
