Job Description: Part-time, Capitol intern. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Answering constituent phone calls, • Sorting and distributing Capitol office mail, • Logging constituent requests in legislative correspondence database, • Greeting and meeting with office visitors, • Research and writing assistance, and • Other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: The position is open to all undergraduate and graduate students; prior employment in an office setting is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate: • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, • Is proficient in Microsoft Office programs, • Is organized, focused, and able to multi-task, • Completes tasks efficiently and thoroughly with close attention to detail, and • Maintains workplace decorum and confidentiality.
