Job Description: 
Congressman Lloyd Doggett seeks a Constituent Services Intern to assist in responding to questions and problems that residents have with some federal entity such as the Veterans Administration or Immigration. This intern will work with professional Austin staff to communicate with both constituents and federal, state, and local agencies; helping determine appropriate course of action; and logging requests and correspondence. The intern may also accompany the Congressman and/or staff to events throughout the district. The positions are unpaid but are available for class credit. Deadline for consideration for a Fall 2018 internship will be August 15, 2018, although we recommend applying as soon as possible as spaces fill up.
