Job Description: 
Congressman Pete Olson is currently seeking ambitious students who are interested in interning in his Washington, D.C. office during the fall semester of 2018. A Capitol Hill internship gives a unique opportunity to learn about the political process by working side by side with policy makers, government officials and future world leaders. Interns will assist staff with drafting constituent correspondence, attending Congressional briefings, assisting communication team efforts, analyzing Committee testimony and more. This is a fulltime, unpaid internship. No matter which career field students plan to follow after graduation, this internship presents infinite opportunities for your future and career aspirations. We're looking for students with superb academic achievement and an interest in the political sphere. Students must be able to perform under pressure, carry themselves well and possess a strong writing ability. Texas ties are preferred, but not necessary. The internship will begin on August 20th (with flexibility if needed!) and end on/around December 14th. The intern will be working 5 days a week, 9a – 5p.
