Job Description: 
Congressman Pete Olson is currently seeking ambitious students who are interested in interning in his Washington, D.C. office during the summer semester of 2018. A Capitol Hill internship gives a unique opportunity to learn about the political process by working side by side with policy makers, government officials and future world leaders. Interns will assist staff with drafting constituent correspondence, attending Congressional briefings, assisting communication team efforts, analyzing Committee testimony and more. This is a fulltime, unpaid internship. No matter which career field students plan to follow after graduation, this internship presents infinite opportunities for your future and career aspirations. We're looking for students with superb academic achievement and an interest in the political sphere. Students must be able to perform under pressure, carry themselves well and possess a strong writing ability. Texas ties are preferred, but not necessary. The Internship is scheduled to begin on/around January 7th and end on/around May 3rd (flexible). We are willing to work with students’ schedules, if need be.
