Democracy Reform Internships

Common Cause Texas works on issues within the democracy reform realm such as protecting and enhancing voting rights, pushing for stronger ethics regulations and working to foster a culture of civic engagement in Texas. Our Texas office is in need of a small number of talented individuals who are passionate about democracy reform and interested in learning more about Texas government. Those accepted for this internship will handle tasks including, but not limited to: - Research related to our legislative agenda - Monitoring and reporting on legislative committee hearings - Assisting in the development of legislative reports - Assisting in the drafting of legislative testimony - Helping to track bills as they move through the legislative process - Assist with generating content for our social media accounts
