Industry Association Intern

The Texas Cable Association is looking for a very responsible and hard-working individual to begin work next semester. This paid position performs administrative and office support activities for TCA while providing the intern exposure to state government and industry association operations as TCA works to advance industry policies during the 2015 Legislative Session. Extension of this internship into the summer and fall is desirable depending on performance. Strong computer and internet research skills are required. Experience in general office procedures and best practices is preferred. The intern must possess good interpersonal skills; must have the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, members of TCA and members of the general public. Strong organizational skills are essential with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. The position requires the ability to work as an effective team member and to function independently as a self-starter with initiative and enthusiasm.
