Legislative Intern

Senator Don Huffines is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to assist with operations in his Capitol Office. Interns will support legislative staff by completing research projects, drafting constituent correspondence, and performing general office duties. Positions are available for either part-time or full-time. Positions are unpaid. Duties will include drafting letters, meeting with constituents and advocacy groups, answering phones, logging data, and conducting interim research projects for upcoming policy. Applicants should have well-developed research and writing skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, solid computer and writing skills, and effective communication skills.
