Job Description: 
Part Time Legislative Assistant/Internship: To start immediately – Ends May 30th 2019 We are looking for an legislative intern with exceptional research and writing skills. The position will assist in conducting statutory, regulatory, and general research relating to the legislative and political process. Intern will also need to navigate Capitol building, and run small errands. The office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Mon. - Fri. and will vary between those times. This is a temporary position starting immediately and will last through the end of the 86th Legislative session ending May 31st. Intern will need to use their own laptop. Please keep in mind that the duties will be geared towards research, writing, and note taking. The position will take away an increased knowledge of our state legislative process and work with seasoned professionals providing increased knowledge base for future opportunities. We understand school is a priority and are flexible in working on available hours. -Must have excellent research skills. -Able to take detailed notes -Excellent writing -Computer literate with Office programs -Reliable & Professional -Able to lift 50 pounds -Use of laptop/computer
