Job Description: 
The Capitol office of State Representative James Frank seeks to fill a part-time, unpaid internship position for the Spring 2014 semester on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This is a great opportunity to get valuable firsthand experience in a legislative office during a legislative session. The Legislative Intern will research past and future legislation, coordinate special projects, greet guests, answer phones, attend briefings and events, and assist with other office duties as needed. The Intern will also assist with constituent correspondence via mail, email, and telephone. Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-developed organizational skills, and solid computer and writing skills. Applicants are expected to be professional in appearance and have a strong work ethic. The ideal applicant will be studying government or political science or will have a strong interest in government and the legislative process.
