Legislative Intern

In Representative Jason Villalba's Capitol Office, interns will be asked to perform a multitude of duties. This will includes general office work such as answering phones to assist constituents, assisting in research directly relating to the district and current and potential legislation for the 85th Legislative Session, composing letters to constituents, database entry, and compiling information from advocacy groups. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent casework issues or work on district-based projects of importance. Interns may also accompany the Representative to meetings with constituents or community leaders in Austin.
