Job Description: 
State Representative C├ęsar Blanco is seeking applicants for unpaid internship opportunities at his Capitol office during the Summer of 2018. The internship program will offer students the opportunity to advance their interest in public service while providing them with valuable employment experience. It will also allow them to participate in the legislative process and gain firsthand experience of state government. Eligible candidates must be available during regular business hours and willing to commit to a minimum 12 hours per week. Responsibilities include: - Conduct public policy research in a wide array of topics and issues; - Assist with drafting policy memoranda, including white papers, briefing memos, and analyses of legislation; - Assist with managing constituent correspondence; and - Additional duties assigned as appropriate.
