Job Description: 
Representative Abel Herrero is seeking highly motivated and responsible legislative interns to assist with day-to-day operations in the Capitol office. Interns will assist with a wide variety of administrative tasks and policy work. Individuals will be expected to make a commitment of 10-15 hours per week. Duties and Responsibilities: • Researching policy issues and attending legislative briefings • Assist with constituent casework and draft correspondence • Meet with visitors and help with scheduling • Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned Qualifications: • Strong planning and organizational skills • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task • Ability to operate standard office equipment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
