Job Description: 
Senator West is looking for an intern to work on an education policy project. The intern's duties will include conducting research, meeting with educational groups, and being a crucial part of the team in charge of the Top 10% Rule campaign on which the office is currently working. Candidate should be a Top 10% student or alumni in Texas and must be able to work 15-20 hours a week in the Capitol office. Candidate may start the position as early as mid-April, but must be available from mid-May to mid-August, and during the next legislative session. Qualified candidates should be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and have an interest in the legislative process.
