Job Description: 
The Office of Representative Terry Meza is looking to hire part-time interns to assist in administrative and legislative duties during the 86th legislative session. Interns will be responsible for a range of tasks, primarily helping to keep the office running while also assisting in legislative duties. Legislative tasks would include: policy research, tracking and analyzing of legislation, and helping to craft bills to be filed. Office tasks would include: answering the phones, taking messages, checking the mail, engaging with constituents, and organizing. Applicants must be orderly, strong writers, and come to the office dressed professionally. Interns will be working in the range of 10-15 hours per week. We can offer hours for anyone working on Public Health, Social Work, or General Government classes.
