Job Description: 
The University of Texas at Arlington government relations department is looking for a responsible and hard-working individual to assist with legislative operations. The position will be involved in a variety of areas of the legislative process. These duties include, but are not limited to: Monitoring committee hearings and providing feedback to the Director and The President; Tracking legislation of importance to UT Arlington Creation of bill tracking lists, flagging bill, and drafting reports on status; Assist in responding to request from Legislators; Research and prepare background information on issues affecting the University; Coordinate and complete special projects as assigned; Attend meetings as assigned relevant to the legislative and regulatory process; Perform administrative duties as needed; and Other duties assigned by the Director and the President.
