The 2017 Texas Legislative Internship Program will serve as a unique opportunity to gain experience in a legislative office during the 85th Legislative Session interim. The position requires the ability to perform and manage a number of diverse activities, including writing a variety of documents, analyzing proposals, performing research, and meeting with stakeholders. Good judgment, independent thinking, a high degree of resourcefulness, and professionalism are critical to the successful management of an intern’s responsibilities. Please note, candidates must be available a minimum of 16 hours per week.
