Job Description: 
The Deputy Field Organizer (DFO) will work in Austin on our youth civic engagement program, Texas Rising. They will work to build power on their campus by organizing around increasing voter participation. This job will start as soon as possible. This position is part-time, and will require 25 hrs a week. The primary responsibility of the DFO will be to organize students on their campus. Deputy Field Organizers should be high energy, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to spend many active hours outdoors interacting with voters. Deputy Field Organizers report to the Field and Outreach Manager. ● Candidate must have a desire to learn and a willingness to receive feedback ● Candidates must have the ability to communicate with diverse communities and leaders ● Candidates must be willing to get deputized to register voters, ideal candidate is already deputized ● Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, experience meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
