Job Description: 
Focused on supporting employee growth and professional development, the Office of State Representative Ina Minjarez is looking for undergraduate and graduate student interns for the Fall 2021 semester. Interns will have the opportunity to work within the Texas Legislature and assist staff with policy development, constituent work, and administrative planning. We will allow students to work on their topics of interest when possible. Ideal Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week. We are also open to working with the student's respective college or university to assist with course credit for the internship. Preferred Qualifications • Strong written and oral communication skills • Understand and explain complex policy issues • Professional appearance • Positive attitude as well as a willingness to learn and take direction • Personal accountability for work done • Flexible and available
