Job Description: 
The Capitol Office of State Representative John Raney is seeking applicants for an unpaid, session-only internship for Spring 2019. Responsibilities include general office upkeep, legislative research and analysis, addressing constituent issues and correspondence, and acting as an office representative to visitors as well as answering phone calls. Dates for the internship are Monday, January 7, 2019 through Monday, May 27, 2019. Applicants must be courteous, professional, resourceful, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and be able to multitask efficiently. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interest in the legislative process, and a basic knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office are required. Position require a minimum of 15 hours per week during normal business hours. This is non-paid internship, but may be considered for course credit.
