Job Description: 
Fellow duties: -Draft the Policy Agenda for the 89th regular legislative session, synthesizing research findings and organizational priorities to articulate clear and impactful policy positions -Provide regular communication updates on key legislative priorities to the community, including the Board, membership, and followers, ensuring transparent and informed engagement -Draft and present testimony at the State Board of Education and the Texas Legislature as necessary, advocating for policy positions and representing the organization's interests -Monitor and analyze national education policies, providing insights to contribute effectively to education advocacy initiatives within the organization -Create advocacy tools for MASBA membership -Assist in actively connecting and communicating with legislative partners and coalition entities
