Job Description: 
Purpose: The position of Intern serves as support to associates in event coordination, donor relations, and research. In this position, interns work on a variety of projects and learn facets of political fundraising and corporate event planning. The ideal candidate will be ready to work hard, manage multiple projects, and be willing to adapt quickly to changing demands in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also be interested in both federal and state politics. Key Responsibilities: • Donor database management • Donor calls • Client scheduling and profile updating • Researching and identifying new donors • Assist with event logistics • Creative brainstorming for events and ways to meet fundraising goals • Attend events and fundraisers as needed Time Commitment: 10 + hours a week; flexible schedule with your classes and other commitments. Qualifications: This is not an entry level position. Some office related work experience is required, but fundraising experience is not. You need to be organized, focused, good at multi-tasking, a self-starter, comfortable speaking on the phone, and have good communication skills. Strong knowledge of working in Excel. Dress Code: Office attire is casual. Events require professional or business casual attire Length of Position: Start date asap and proceeding through fall and spring semester, with likelihood of extending position.
