We frequently collaborate with other progressive organizations and we have a diverse advisory board of nine experts: Bruno De Carvalho, Hon. Eileen C Donahoe, Adam Lavine, Jerry Michalski, Matt Mitchell, Nathaniel Pearlman, Justin Reich, Sonal Shah, & Christina Tzintzun Ramirez. Job Description: We are looking for a mission driven individual who believes in increasing civic engagement and youth activism. The social media director will work remotely to maintain our social media platforms and develop new social media strategies. They will have the opportunity to work directly with our leadership team and experienced advisors as well as to publish their writing on our website and social media platforms. The intern will be working in a collaborative environment. Interns will learn about fundraising, start-ups, blog writing, digital advertising, and about the non-profit, civic technology and progressive space. Interns will have the opportunity to work remotely, attend conferences, events and interact with others in the civic and nonprofit technology community. Interns will have access to our illustrious advisory board, and make a real impact on youth voter turnout to further progressive change. Time commitment is negotiable.
