Respondents were asked, "Generally speaking, would you say that you usually think of yourself as a Democrat, Republican, Independent, Other, or not sure?" If they identified as a Democrat or Republican, they were asked if they think of themselves as "Strong" or "Not very strong". If they identified themselves as independent, they were asked if they "lean Republican" or "lean Democrat".

"Likely Voters" were defined as those who indicated that they were either "Extremely" or "Somewhat" interested in politics in Q2 AND either voted in "Every" or "Almost every" election in Q3.
