How do you Feel about the Texas Courts?
Chart showing the reponses to the question of What is your overall impression of the Texas court system? long description of chart

The positive vibe about Texas courts – no surprise here – is strongest among Texas judges. Based on a 1998 survey, 85 percent of them feel positively or very positively about the Texas courts overall. A majority of court personnel, attorneys, and the Texas public also have positive feelings about the courts, but the proportions drop steadily for each group. The public is almost equally divided between a positive vibe and a neutral or negative vibe. The pages that follow examine some of the thinking behind these opinions about the Texas judicial system.
