Importance of Issue Positions in Voting Decisions (October 2012)

Likely voters were asked, "When voting for a political candidate, please indicate how important each of the following factors is in your decision, Extremely important, Somewhat important, Not very important, Not at all important: Issue positions." "Likely Voters" were defined as those who indicated that they were either "Extremely" or "Somewhat" interested in politics in Q2 AND either voted in "Every" or "Almost every" election in Q3. Race is calculated according to the RACE1 variable.
