Preferred Work Experience for Candidates for Statewide Office (October 2010)

Respondents were asked, "Which is the more important qualification for a candidate for statewide office (such as governor or U.S. senator): previous experience in elected office or previous experience in the private sector?" Race is calculated according to the RACE variable.
