About the campaign: A local, insurgent, anti-establishment campaign to take back Austin City Council from big-money interests. Former UT Urban Studies professor, Rich Heyman, is running for Austin City Council, District 9 (central Austin, including UT and West Campus), to fight for the working people of Austin against the status quo at City Hall that continues to give tax breaks to billion-dollar companies while the majority of Austinites struggle to afford their daily needs of food, shelter, healthcare, education, and transportation. We have a plan to win this seat; with your help, we can make it happen!
