The Ann Johnson campaign is currently looking for talented, highly-motivated individuals to help us re-elect Rep. Ann Johnson this cycle and support candidates up and down the ballot. The goal of fellowship is to help individuals learn the necessary organizing skills to run a successful campaign with real hands-on experience. Fellows will get to learn first-hand about grassroots organization within the community. They will work closely with the campaign staff to: run phone banks, manage volunteers, organize events, block walk and help with GOTV efforts. The fellowship program will also offer educational opportunities that will allow for a more in-depth understanding of the election process and legislative process. The program will also offer guest speakers and lectures to help give a holistic understanding of campaign work. There is no experience necessary, but Fellows should possess a willingness to learn about organizing and the ability to work with large, diverse groups of people.

As a Fellow we ask for 10-15 hour commitment per week. Fellows will be expected to work in-office for most of their time. This is an unpaid position, but if you are in need of course credit we will happily work with your school to provide that. Fellowships will start on June 1st and will be available until November 8th.
