Job Description: The Adam for Texas Campaign is seeking bright and energetic individuals to join our campaign team! Internships are unpaid and responsibilities will include: - Data entry and maintaining campaign spreadsheets - Light scheduling - Drafting correspondence on behalf of the campaign, including marketing materials and social media content - Managing administrative tasks, including compiling mailers and preparing event materials - Attending events which may include HOA meetings, neighborhood meet and greets, fundraisers, and block walking - Recruiting and training volunteers alongside campaign staff - Other duties as assigned Full training/coaching will be provided by campaign staff. Interns will gain first-hand knowledge of political campaigns and will leave the campaign having made lasting connections and lifelong skills. Job Qualifications: - Commitment to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, maximum of 15 hours per week - Ideal candidates should be reliable, highly organized, prompt, self-motivated, and easy to reach - An interest in politics, public policy, or political campaigns is highly desired - Willingness to learn the ins and outs of political campaigns, including fundraising, grassroots efforts, and voter engagement - Ability to represent the Adam for Texas campaign professionally and courteously at all times (including social media)
