Campaign Intern — Field Operations (South Austin)
Joseph Kopser, a Democratic candidate for Texas House District 47, is seeking highly-motivated individuals interested in developing campaign skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to acquire direct, practical experience within a dynamic, community-focused political campaign.
As a campaign intern, the individual will undertake significant responsibilities in voter outreach, event coordination, and data management. Participation in the campaign will establish a foundation of practical, real-world skills in political campaigning and organizing.
Key Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes:

Develop and implement door-to-door canvassing strategies utilizing data tools such as VAN and miniVAN.

Coordinate and meticulously track daily voter contact in collaboration with the Field Director.

Contribute to the creation of canvassing scripts and the development of training materials for campaign volunteers.

Provide essential support for campaign events and community engagement initiatives.

Proven ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and punctually.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation of $15 per hour.
