District Office Intern
Position Availability: August 13 or as mutually agreed.
General Information
Fall, Spring, or beyond, opportunities are available working with a historic state representative in a diverse district. Rep. Mihaela Plesa became the first Romanian-American to serve in the Texas State Legislature and the first Democrat elected to the legislature from Collin County in over three decades. Her constituency is diverse in many respects, including politically, with roughly equal identification with the two major political parties, making it very important that the office serve constituents and address issues in a manner equitable to all.
