Job Description: 
The campaign for Jennie Birkholz for State Representative (House District 52) is seeking a team (2-3) of highly organized, professional, and responsive Events Coordinator Interns to join our team and assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events hosted by our campaign. The ideal candidates will have a passion for politics, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management within the political sphere. Applicants must be available to work part-time (15 hours per week). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Assist in the planning and coordination of political events, including meet and greets, community gatherings, town halls, fundraisers, and other events; - Research and secure event venues, vendors, and sponsors; - Coordinate logistical details such as event setup, signage, catering, and audiovisual equipment; - Draft event communications, including invitations, press releases, and social media posts; - Manage RSVP lists, attendee registration, and event feedback; Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any issues that arise; - Assist with post-event evaluation and reporting, including analyzing attendee feedback and event metrics; - Research local events Candidate should attend; - Manage the campaign calendar; - Able to travel with Candidate to various events
