Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis with a desired start in early July. The position will continue through the November 2022 election. Field Organizers are the backbone of any campaign. FOs will be responsible for direct voter contact via door-to-door canvassing and/or phone banking. Position-specific training will be provided. All FOs will be contract workers with compensation starting at $22/hour. Ideal candidates are self-starters, personable, and eager to learn and grow professionally. Interest in politics, campaigns, and a drive to create progressive change are all preferred. A functional cell phone and reliable transportation are required. All necessary training will be provided. Kirk Watson is an attorney, former Texas Senator, former Mayor, and coalition builder running to be our next Austin Mayor. Through his decades of service, Kirk has gotten things done to improve our access to healthcare, transportation/transit, and public education.
