Field Organizer

The Dr. Raquel Sáenz Ortiz Campaign for State Board of Education District 10 is hiring field organizers for the November 2024 election. We are seeking motivated individuals who want to help create change in Williamson County and the state of Texas by electing a forward-thinking leaders like Dr. Raquel Sáenz Ortiz. Duties/ Responsibilities - • Voter Precinct Analysis • Phone and Text Banking • Developing a Marketing Plan to reach voters ages 18-25 (utilizing social media, text campaign, etc) • Organize and plan an event for Dr. SO to speak on campus (if appropriate under SU guidelines) • Assist with campaign events in District 10 • Other duties may evolve as priorities change to help Dr. SO win her race • The long-term project is to help the campaign win the election. Short-term projects and goals will be accomplishing a myriad of important tasks that help the campaign reach the goal line in November • Learn how to coordinate and staff events, become a voter deputy registrar and register voters, help with campaign outreach, and much more • Participate in coordinated campaign block walking/ neighborhood canvassing on Saturdays and occasional weekdays
