Field Organizer
Want to gain hands-on campaign experience, connect with voters, and get involved in local Austin politics?
Council Member Paige Ellis is seeking Field Organizers to assist with Petition Signature collection to ensure her place on the November ballot for Austin City Council.
This position is expected to run through early August. Field Organizers must be able to knock on doors in Southwest Austin in July and August.
Work for one hour or for six hours in a shift - you are paid for the time you knock on doors to collect signatures. Flexible shift times are available.
What you’ll do:

Engage with voters through canvassing

Work alongside experienced organizers and campaign staff

Help build momentum for the campaign
What you’ll gain:

Training in voter outreach, public communication, and campaign strategy.

Base pay: $25 per hour/contractor status
Bonuses paid for signatures collected! Bonuses paid for the overall number of signatures gathered at 100, 250, 500, and 1000 - $1 per signature bonus.
No prior campaign experience is required.
