Location: Travis County, TX (In-person)
Pay: $25/hour
Hours: 15 – 40 hours/week (flexible; includes evenings and weekends as needed)
Start Date: Rolling / ASAP

About the Campaign
Amanda Marzullo is running for Travis County Commissioner to deliver real, people-first leadership on affordability, climate resilience, civil rights, and accountable local government. This campaign is building a strong, community-rooted field operation to turn out voters and win in 2026.

Position Overview
The Field Organizer will play a key role in building and executing a high-impact, in-person voter contact program. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated, organized, and excited to work directly with voters, volunteers, and community leaders in Travis County.

This is a flexible, hourly position with opportunities for increased responsibility based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for canvassing, phonebanks, and voter outreach

  • Conduct direct voter contact, including door-to-door canvassing and tabling

  • Help plan and execute field events, including canvasses and community outreach

  • Track and report voter contact data accurately using campaign tools

  • Support voter registration and GOTV efforts

  • Represent the campaign professionally in the community

  • Assist with other campaign field needs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Comfortable engaging voters from diverse backgrounds

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed

  • Reliable transportation and ability to work in the field, outdoors

  • Prior campaign or organizing experience preferred but not required
