Fundraising Associate

Reports to: Campaign Manager & Fundraiser Director 
Location: Austin, TX — hybrid
Time commitment: 8-10 hours per week

About the Role: The Fundraising Associate supports Campaign Leadership in keeping the campaign's finance operation organized and moving. This is a great fit for someone who's detail-oriented, comfortable with outreach, and wants hands-on experience in political fundraising without yet owning donor relationships and event planning that come with the Director role. 

What you'll do

• Maintain donor databases: support updating records & keeping information accurate.
• Support donor outreach: fundraising emails, donor follow-ups, and thank-yous.
• Help plan and staff fundraising events under the Director's direction.
• Handle Day-of fundraising event logistics: check-in, materials, and donor experience.
• Help prepare reports for the Director.
• Coordinate with the Treasurer to ensure compliance standards are met. 

What we're looking for

• Well-organized professional leader, dependable, and advanced interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with outreach and following up with people (donors, hosts, vendors).
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Prior fundraising, sales, or customer-facing experience is a plus.
• User knowledge of NGP VAN and ActBlue is a plus.
