HCDP Candidate Filing Administrator

The Harris County Democratic Party is hiring limited term contractors to help with the administration of candidate filing from November 11 to December 11 2023. The position will be part time for the first three weeks, increasing to full time in the final week. We are paying $18.50/hour. Pay is $20/hour for notaries. The ideal candidate will be patient, detail oriented, friendly, and able to respond to high pressure situations. Experience with proofreading and/or admin preferred. Duties will include: -Greeting candidates -Entering candidate info -Checking ID -Verifying that candidates live in the district that they are filing for -Carefully checking applications for errors -Fulfilling any other duties as required
