Job Description:
Join our dynamic team for an unparalleled internship experience at the office of Chairman Todd Hunter. As a legislative intern, you will gain firsthand exposure to the workings of a senior legislator, participating in a wide array of legislative topics and activities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in significant meetings and contribute to diverse legislative efforts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in research and analysis on topics ranging from cybersecurity, electric grid management, border security, and human trafficking, to cultural sectors such as music, film, and tourism.
- Participate in discussions on coastal issues and a broad range of legislative initiatives.
- Attend and contribute to significant meetings, providing support in drafting reports and summaries.
- Engage with various stakeholders and assist in legislative communications.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong interest in legislative processes and public policy.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a wide range of topics.
**Internship Details:**
- **Preference:** Full-time interns are preferred, but part-time positions are available.
- **Duration:** Flexible, based on the candidate's availability and university requirements.
