The Jon Rosenthal for Texas Railroad Commissioner Campaign is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Campaign Assistant to support the finance operation during a critical phase of the campaign. This is a paid, part-time position ideal for someone interested in Democratic politics, campaign finance, and electoral organizing. 

Position Details 

• Hours: 12–15 hours per week 
• Pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience 
• Location: Remote / Texas-based preferred 
• Start Date: ASAP 

Responsibilities 

• Assist the Finance Director with donor research and donor tracking 
• Help prepare and update call sheets for candidate call time 
• Support the planning and coordination of fundraisers 
• Prepare materials for finance events and donor outreach 
• Provide general administrative support related to campaign finance operations Qualifications 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic research tools 
• Interest in Democratic campaigns, public service, or political organizing 
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle sensitive information discreetly 
• Prior campaign or political experience is a plus, but not required
