Job Description
The office of State Representative Tan Parker is seeking applicants for unpaid internships for the Fall semester. Applicants must have at least 10 hours of availability per week through December and an interest in public policy and the legislative process.
Interns will complete a number of tasks in the office, including: answering incoming calls, drafting constituent correspondence, research and prepare constituent resolutions, research past and future legislation, organize special projects, and perform general administrative assignments as needed.
Applicants should have strong research and writing skills, well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills, solid computer and writing skills, and effective communication skills.
