Legislative Intern
The Office of State Representative Brooks Landgraf is excited to offer a part-time, unpaid internship for college students interested in learning more about Texas government, public policy, and public service. This internship provides hands-on experience in a state legislative office and is a great opportunity for college students considering careers in government, law, communications, or public affairs.
Part-Time | Approximately 10 hours per week
Responsibiltes:

Answer office phones and assist with constituent services

Work closely with staff on day-to-day projects

Conduct research on legislation, policy issues, and current events

Help draft correspondence and other written materials

Attend briefings and meetings when available

Track and monitor political and legislative activity
