The Senate Higher Education Committee is seeking a part time intern for the 85th Legislative Session. General duties and responsibilities will include: Legislative - Assist in obtaining information from legislative and executive agencies as needed for use by staff or constituents. This may include attending meetings, committee hearings, or conducting research. Correspondence - Enter and update constituent correspondence data in CMS database system. Other correspondence related tasks include opening and distributing the mail, forwarding mail to appropriate offices, and assisting in research for responses when needed. Administrative - Answer and directs phone calls. Greet visitors; provide information or source of information when requested. Assist Office Manager with office organization, and other administrative duties.
