Legislative Internship

Joey D Bennett Consulting, Inc is a governmental affairs consulting firm that represents a wide range of clients before the Texas Legislature.  

Duties would include research, analysis, tracking, and monitoring legislation affecting client interests.  That includes preparation of briefing materials, attending committee hearings, and having interaction with staff and members regarding the legislative proposals. 

The intern would also be responsible for preparation and organization of daily materials for activities at the Capitol including committee and floor schedules.  

Responsibilites would also include attending meeting with clients and affected stakeholders regarding proposed legislation.
