Job Description
Texas Senate Business and Commerce Committee office intern. Part-time/full-time options. In-person for the duration of the 87th Legislative Session. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering constituent phone calls, research and writing assistance, legislative hearing organization and preparation, and other administrative duties as assigned. The position is open to all undergraduate and graduate students; prior employment in an office setting is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate follows COVID-19 public health protocols, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, is proficient in Microsoft Office programs, is organized, focused, and able to multi-task, completes tasks efficiently and thoroughly with close attention to detail, and maintains workplace decorum and confidentiality.
