Job Description

The Office of State Representative Todd Hunter is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to gain firsthand experience in the legislative process. Interns will assist with daily office operations, legislative research, and attending and preparing for committee hearings during the 89th Legislative Session.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending and summarizing committee hearings relevant to public education and other legislative matters
  • Assisting with constituent correspondence and casework
  • Managing legislative and constituent databases
  • Answering phone calls and welcoming visitors
  • Performing administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

This internship position is specifically for Tuesdays and Thursdays, with primary availability needed in the mornings. The internship will continue through the remainder of the legislative session and conclude in June 2025.
