Job Description
The Senate Hispanic Research Council (SHRC) is recruiting undergraduate, graduate students, and recent graduates to apply for the Senator Gregory Luna Scholars and Fellows Program. This prestigious program offers a unique chance for emerging leaders to gain significant legislative experience in the Texas Legislature and advance their professional careers. This PAID full-time legislative internship program provides a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the Texas legislative process and learn how policies are crafted. Scholars and Fellows will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing their leadership skills. Each participant is assigned to a State Senator's office, where they will engage in various legislative tasks, including drafting research summaries, tracking bills, and composing constituent correspondence.
