Operations Manager/Finance Assistant

Join the Kirk Watson Campaign as Operations Manager and Finance Assistant in 2024! Mayor Watson is running for re-election in the November 5th General Election and will be looking to hit the ground running. Pay is $3,000/mo, 40 hours a week starting mid-May. Responsibilities include: -The expectation to work 40 hours per week until November 5 or December 10 in case of runoff. -Assisting with fundraising call-time. -Making bank deposits. -Maintaining fundraising data. -Assisting with preparation of compliance reports. -Preparing thank you letters. -Staffing fundraising events. -Managing the campaign office. -Assisting with scheduling. Requirements: -Basic proficiency in Excel and Microsoft office programs. -A working cell phone and laptop. -A strong commitment to the future of the City of Austin. -Flexibility to work outside normal business hours that include evenings and weekends, and work extended hours to accomplish the requirements of the position. -Ability to work in and across diverse communities, particularly race, class, and gender.
