Job Description
This internship supports CDF-TX’s grassroots healthcare campaign, #SickOfItTX (Sick Of It Texas) and can be based anywhere in Texas. The intern coordinates organizing activities across campaign partners, which may include block walking, outreach, events, rallies, digital organizing, and more with the goal of engaging and mobilizing Black and brown Texans who face barriers to healthcare access due to state policies. The #SickOfItTX campaign is led by The Afiya Center, CDF-TX, Every Texan, Texas Organizing Project, and United for Respect.
